The road to Whittier was closed late Sat. evening to a major rock slide. As a result motorist are unable to enter or leave Whittier until possibly Thur. when they hope to have the road open.

I was able to see the slide area, and know exactly where it is as I have always been concerned driving past that section of the road.

My other excuse for going down there was that is was a pretty day for a drive.
