The Alaska Dept. of F&G brought a bear proof container out to the zoo to see if our 2 black bears could break into it.

Try as they might the containers worked as advertised and they were unable to get at the contents.

However when a garbage can, like the ones most people use on trash day, was placed in the enclosure it too exactly 11 seconds for the bears to make entry and get they reward.
