Dr. Riley Wilson, Alaska Zoo's Senior Facility Veterinarian invited Dr. Gary Goldstein, a consulting veterinary dental specialist, to perform a route canal on Oreo's canine tooth. Dr. Goldstein is assisted by his wife Marsha. Oreo's procedure went perfect and she is recovering well in her enclosure with Jake and Izzy. Oreo weighed in at 607 pounds, she should pack on another 150 pounds before hibernating in the fall.
